Duck Creek Village area Photographer and Videographer Patrick Mahler took this beautiful footage of Duck Creek Community Church in Duck Creek Village, the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Duck Creek Village, and the Nativity co-sponsored by DCCC and the Alton Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The young people who staged the Nativity were from the Alton Ward and live goats in a nearby pen, also from Alton, added to the realism. The mountain is a beautiful place full of the Christmas Spirit as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior!
The Duck Creek Community Church 15th Anniversary Service included a special video tribute to the building of the church and scenes of other past special events, including audio clips of church founders Pastor Steve and Bonnie Altig. Member Claudette Dunning sang "Something Beautiful" as a fitting tribute to the wonderful miracle that the building of the church represents. The message was titled, "God Loves Small Churches, Too." After the service, all of those in attendance enjoyed a barbeque and buffet in the Fellowship Hall, sharing memories and a lot of laughter.
Carol Gagliardi read the original church vision and shared other member memories and sentiments at the opening of the 15th Anniversary Service on June 3, 2018.
Claudette Dunning sang a solo of "Something Beautiful" as a fitting tribute to the church and its construction by church members.
Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to view a historical 2004 Duck Creek Community Church "Ground Breaking" booklet-pages are shown below as photographed from the booklet. The slide show below provides a historical tour of the church's early beginnings. The special service and barbecue on June 3, Sunday, 2018, will provide a great opportunity to share memories and celebrate the church's 15th Anniversary. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and ice cream will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend from the surrounding communities. Please join us to share wonderful memories of the first services at Pinewoods Resort in 2003 to the construction of the church and present-day services.

Pastor Baden’s Memorial Day sermon was one of the best sermons I’ve heard in my entire life! Wish I was there to hear it. I hope those who were there appreciate his message. God Bless Pastor Baden.
